City Theme #1

Today's post is craaazy packed with photos! I am going to try and publish a few city specific themed posts, full of images that remind me of that particular city. To start off the series - Seattle!

What is one of the first things that comes to mind when you think about Seattle? The rain, right!

Rain on your wedding day is actually good luck! It comes with the idea that a wet knot is harder to untie (Since marriage is often referred to as tying the knot). Rain was also a symbol of fertility to agricultural societies, since rain restored and maintained the wellness of crops. So if it rains on your wedding day or even on the day you are set to take your engagement pictures, consider yourself lucky, and just look at how cute all these pictures turned out!

So, I start the Seattle series with... Umbrellas!

Now, one of my personal favorite things about Seattle is the COFFEE! So, to honor the birthplace of Starbucks - a few pictures celebrating this wonderful beverage!

For the last, but absolutely not least in my Seattle theme- Mariners Baseball!
I thought about making baseball a seperate post (because I got so excited!) but in the end, thought it fit so nicely with the Seattle theme.

Finally, check out this rehearsal dinner baseball game! "The first annual "Franco-American Classic" was held the night before the wedding, complete with silk screened uniforms designed by the brides mother, and all the baseball essentials: hotdogs, beer, peanuts and cracker jacks." What a fantastic idea!!

The only thing I would add would be some sweet tunes!
